Can I use candle wax as snowboard wax?

I have a bunch of votive candles laying around and if they would work the same as snowboard wax, I don’t see the point in going out and buying some. So would they work kinda the same, like if I used a hair dryer with it?

No snowboard was has a lot of things put in it to make it go faster on snow. Candle wax might work a little bit, but it will not work as well as snowboard wax. Just drop $2 on a stick of wax! it’s worth it!
No you can not use candle wax on snowboard because in quite cold temperature it can not be work wax will turn in to some hard rough thing.
