soy candles support the farmers so i guess they have that going on… i think the soy ones burn cleaner like no black soot burns off (which can stain walls)

Why not? I don’t know if they are better for the environment or not. I think that they are just something that sounds more earth friendly. Nothing is wrong with regular wax or even bees wax candles.
Usually it is the type of wick that causes the black soot from candles. Older candles are an exception.

When inhaling regular candles the fumes seem to linger in the nostrils so would it Not seem the same after effects would be harmful to the other body parts connected to breathing such as the lungs? Soy candles did not have the same effect when I used them. I could smell a fresh clean odor but no after effects such as in my nostrils or throat as before!

The average candle is made of petroleum..not very clean. Soy wax is very clean and as stated, supports our soy farmers.

Most candles are made with petroleum-based wax. Not only does this produce a tremendous amount of soot that stains your walls and filters into your lungs, but it helps promote the U.S. dependence on crude oil.

Soy-based candles burn much cleaner, producing very little, if any, soot and cleaning up with soap and water. Soy also holds and retains fragrance far better than petroleum-based wax does.

Mia Bella Candles are made with a combination soy/vegetable wax, made from all renewable resources. Not only does it burn clean, but it also supports American farmers.

While you may pay a bit more for soy candles, you’re actually getting more "bang for your buck" when it comes to fragrance. Plus, you’re doing your part, even if in a small way, to both support American farmers and decrease America’s dependence on foreign oil.
